Romans Together Facebook Live Devotional
Starting March 23 | 9:00A on Facebook Live
We believe Christians have a calling to be the most Hope-filled, Joyful, and Forgiving people on the face of the planet; not because of our circumstances or because of any birthright, but because of the Grace and Peace that came through the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to pay for our sins. Everything else is temporal in comparison to that love. And as Christians the Spirit of God now lives inside of us, wherever we are, emboldening us and reminding us of our Hope in God.
So in times like these, we want to lean even more heavily on the Word of God to provide us peace and perspective. Please join us as we read through Romans together over 8 weeks and pray to understand one of Paul’s most comprehensive letters to the ancient Church. These will be accompanied by Facbook Live video devotionals (Monday-Thursday) and social media images that we ask you to share and post. We have a vision of us, together, daily flooding Champaign and Urbana’s internet feeds with scripture, overtaking the mass worry and cynicism…overtaking the memes…until all that’s left is the Word of God.
So here is how you can join in…
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and reveal what God wants to speak through his Living Word.
Read the prescribed Romans passage for the day, as laid out in the Reading Plan.
Be sure to read the helpful cross-reference verses! - They give contextual clarity and support to what’s happening in Romans.
Share the daily Scripture image on whatever social media platforms you use.
