The first and best place to discern God’s next steps of service is by listening to the Holy Spirit in both Scripture and your community. With that in mind, we have created a tool that can help facilitate some of these conversations and give some thoughtful direction to this discernment process. This tool is called the G.P.S. Assessment, and can be found HERE. It will help bring guidance and clarity to three key areas: 1) your Spiritual GIFTS, 2) your core PASSIONS, and 3) your unique STORY. We hope that journeying through these three areas will provide a kind of GPS, or general directions for where God may be leading you next, in your journey of serving others in the Kingdom of God.
This assessment will take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete, so we encourage you to prayerfully set aside enough time sometime to give adequate attention to this tool.
When completed, we encourage prayerful processing both with God and your community, as well as with other trusted friends or mentors walking with you in your discipleship to Jesus. However,we ultimately encourage obedience and action. Don’t just sit on new insights or information, but step out in faith and service! Oftentimes, clarity and calling are found after stepping out into something new or stretching.
