PARENTS’ MORNING OUT

The Early Childhood Ministry of FCC is excited to again offer Parents’ Morning Out!  Here you have a safe and nurturing place to leave your children while you go and enjoy some free time!  Each room is staffed by a loving group of volunteers where a fun Christian-based curriculum is used.  Children learn from the Bible, make crafts, play on the playground, sing songs, and make new friends!  PMO meets weekly throughout the school year in the Early Childhood hallway at FCC from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings.  Due to the popularity of this program, each parent is asked to volunteer one Thursday each month.

Important dates for 2009-2010:

August 16:  PMO child and volunteer registration begins

September 10:  PMO begins

PMO will not meet during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, or Spring Break

May 20, 2010:  Last PMO of the year

Classes offered: 

Nursery (infants through 23 months)

** Please note: Registration for the 2009-10 PMO Nursery is currently full.

Guppies (older 2-yr-olds and young 3-yr-olds)

Fisherman (4 and 5-yr-olds)

At the beginning of the school year a volunteer schedule, along with contact information, will be created and distributed to all families.  It is important that parents take their volunteering responsibilities seriously or we will be understaffed and children may have to be turned away.  Last minute schedule trades are common and expected due to sudden illnesses and other emergency situations.  Please do your best to find a substitute if you cannot make it on your morning to volunteer.

Registration forms will be available at the Nursery Counter beginning Sunday, August 16th.  Please return them to the church office or to the Nursery prior to Sept. 10th.   We look forward to having you as a part of our Parents’ Morning Out family!  For more information please contact Krista Sheafe at ksheafe@fcc-online.org or 217-714-8399.
